If your application need to draw a chart or a diagram, to illustrate an algorithm, show off
a family tree or just construct a schema - than what you need is FlowChartX. With MindFusion's professional flowchart ActiveX component the development process is easy and fast, and the results are of high quality.

You can provide your diagrams with the right flowchart objects the moment you need them. The FlowChartX Pro ShapeDesigner is a programming tool that creates custom node shape definitions. It generates VisualBasic, C++ or Delphi source code, which is ready to use in your software. The ShapeDesigner requires FlowChartX Pro. Download the free FlowChartX Pro ShapeDesigner
If you are working with Microsoft Visio you might find it useful to download our COM module, which imports Visio XML Drawing (.VDX) files into FlowChartX Pro. It imports the following types of Visio diagrams:
If you prefer, you can save your flowchart diagrams as Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) files. Please, download the FlowChartX Professional SVG Exporter: Download of FlowChartX Professional SVG Exporter
There are several ways to add custom node shapes in FlowChartX Pro . One of them is to load plug-ins named "Shape libraries" at run time. You can create your own shape libraries using the publicly available plug-in API. You can download several ready to use shape libraries from the link below: Download FlowChartX Pro - Shape Libraries For a quick start - up sample how to use the shape libraries, please, see the VB project included in the .zip file.
In order to export diagrams as JPEG/JPG or TIFF files you can use the CreateBitmap FlowChartX method. This method creates Window Bitmap object (HBITMAP), which can be passed to an image export library. We use BMGLIB in our projects and it works just fine. In order to facilitate all Visual Basic programmers, we have created a COM wrapper class for BMGLIB, which is available for download from the link below:
In case you have any problems running the FlowChartX Std or FlowChartX Pro demo or have additional questions about the software, please contact us. We would be happy to assist you. |
